Abstract

This article considers inter-textual relations between KalilawaDimna translated by Nasrollah Monshi and Marzban-nameh translated by Sa'ddeddin Varavini. Some of the headings which are included in the present study are considering the beginning and the closing phrases, the determination of the inter-textual relations between the two books (KalilawaDimna and Marzban-nameh) and showing the hypo text and hypertext.

The method used in this research is to some extent similar to transtextualite Genett method.

 The results of  this research  indicate that  there are  many  constructive inter-textual relations  between the texts of KalilawaDimna and  Marzban-nameh, but contrary to general opinion , Marzban- nameh is not a pure imitation of KalilawaDimna.
